Since I don't have much on the go yet for new artwork I thought I do a post in celebration of Mother's Day. (Also, I was really busy with my other job at the flower shop getting ready for Mother's Day.)

Yesterday was the day to tell one of the most important and influential person in our lives how much they are appreciated and just how much you love them. I know my mother has always encouraged both my sister and I with our art and creativity. Even though she is more down to the earth than I am, and may roll her eyes at my "head in the clouds" ideas, she has also never stopped me from colouring outside the lines both literally and figuratively.

Happy Mother's Day to my "ma" as well as to all my other favourite mommies out there!

Getting to Know You

Well I made the decision to start a blog...not sure how that will go. My idea is that this would be a great place to show my upcoming art projects and ideas. So I created this blog, now the hard part will be to use it and keep it updated! Let's keep our fingers crossed and welcome everyone! I hope you like what you see!!

Another commissioned piece I did recently. This was taken from an old black and white photo that was small. It was a little difficult to see detail in the photo but I was pleased with how it turned out.
